| retro-fitting a GSXR750 back wheel to my SV?! "but why?" you ask. well..for me reason #1 is that it looks PHAT ;-) however, if i were to be into serious back-road scratching or track-days the wider 5.5" rim gives you alot more rear tyre options and yields much improved handling over the stock wheel size. it's also a good bit lighter than the SV rim which helps reduce unsprung weight the rear shock needs to deal with, again yielding better performance. |
