a skosh over 3' to work with between ceiling joists and roof rafters, plus a shit load of truss-work to climb around, and no touchee-the-ceiling-plaster...let's just say it wasnt exactly a straight-forward application of insulation

12" of insulation blown in with the help of the missus loading the hopper...we're done...it made a HUGE difference!
