first, let's mark the date and time.
hmmm...what have we got HEAH?!
sure is oddly shaped for a bike!
what is this -- a clue?
the Time VXRS Swiss National/Assos Team Edition. translink integrated seatmast, beefy geometrically enhanced carbon tubes/lugs, integrated headset. one word: F*CKING ILL!
seriously, this thing is just DUMB. i cannot even begin to express it's flyness in words. it's sublime. i just want to stare at it all day...
tale of the tape: 1770g all-up-weight (~3.89lbs). seat-pin is 206g. figure headset is 100g, fork is 350g. that means net frame weight is 1114g (~2.45lbs), not too shabby for a BIG bike! that number compares very favorably w/ my C40HP. i believe the frame/fork/headset/seat-pin for that is 2250g, which is 480g higher - the VXRS is more than a pound lighter than a similar-sized C40HP!
the parts for build-up are starting to accumulate!
specs for this XL-sized setup.
