overall impressions about the carbon bike:

• it is more comfortable on these rough detroit roads - the difference is obvious
• both frames are plenty stuff for my dearth-of-power producing legs - i can discern no difference in stiffness
• the amclassic wheels are FAST - they really do feel faster than the cxp33s on my old bike

i'm guessing the wheels and lower weight are worth 5-10 watts vs. the old bike.

at the end of the day it's the rider that has to turn the pedals, and with my current condition delivering a measly 225watts @ LT, i aint about to impress anyone with my speed!
