SOLD:  Ruhla/Yao hybrid Mildiver - UPGRADED!

on offer is an absolutely fantastic Ruhla*/Yao mildiver with SUBSTANTIAL UPGRADES!  this watch was inspired by <a href="http://www.50717.com/hybrids/hseung-hybrid-3.2.html">hyunsuk's Hybrid Dive Watch No. 3., Ver. 2</a>.  with all the upgrades, it's truly a rough and ready tactical watch and primed for action.  overall the condition is exc+: the case has nary a mark on it, domed mineral glass crystal is in very good shape with only a couple tiny marks - you need to look <i>real</i> closely to spot them, and there are some light marks on the bezel - again you need to look <i>real</i> closely to spot them.  to re-create this watch, you'll have to spend $500 in time and materials.  with all the upgrades, it's truly a rough and ready tactical watch and ready for action.  <b>price:  $395 shipped in CONUS (paypal OK w/o extra fees).</b> tons of references furnished on request.

here are some details about the watch & upgrades:<ul>
<li>start off with a "rayhla" ruhla <i>hommage</i> watch, which is actually a better watch than the original ruhla.  the original ruhla's case is a low-quality base-metal, while this one is a very high-quality stainless steel with a matte bead-blasted finish.  case specs:  diameter ~43mm, thickness ~14mm, this watch features an automatic ETA2824 movt w/ hack-set. as is common to the rayhla watch, the uni-directional ratcheting does have some free-play to it - this is par for the course.
<li>the watch was then upgraded with a TRIP-LOCK crown (by our friend randall).  this is a top-quality retrofit, which really increases the watch's usability - no more fumbling w/ the 2-piece crown, no risk of losing the exterior crown, and you can easily hand-wind the watch if you want!  the watch was pressure tested after the retrofit to 100m and passed with flying colors.
<li>the watch was further upgraded with a 300-MoD dial from MkII watches.  super legible MoD-spec dial configuration with super-bright lume.
<li>the watch was then further upgraded by re-luming the hands with SLN to match the brightness of the new dial (also by our friend randall).  check out the lume shot below!
<li>the back of the case between the lugs was relieved to provide more room for thicker straps to work w/o interference.
<li>extras:  will come fitted with a very handsome Hirsch Liberty strap w/ heavy-duty butterfly deployant clasp _and_ a waterborne strap for tactical situations _and_ several spare high-quality 24mm omega spring-bars (these can be tough to find) _and_ the whole kit will be packed in a handly little black leatherette case as pictured.
